The first meeting of Justice and Interior Ministers of the "Eastern Partnership" countries will be held in Luxembourg on October 7 and 8.
The meeting will be held jointly with the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council and the European Commission, the official website of the Lithuanian chairmanship in the EU Council said.
Representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine and the ministers of EU countries will discuss future reforms and cooperation in justice, internal affairs and migration.
In addition, the struggle against corruption, the EU policy in fighting against organized and transnational crime will be discussed at the meeting.
The Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council supports the permanent holding of meetings between the Justice and Interior Ministers, the report said.
