Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has today met a delegation led by member of the French Senate, head of the Senate's observation mission Nathalie Goulet.
Mehriban Aliyeva noted Azerbaijan and France enjoyed fruitful business relations.
Head of the working group on Azerbaijan-France interparliamentary ties Mehriban Aliyeva said that the Azerbaijani delegation held a number of meetings as part of their visit to France in May.
She noted that such meetings would contribute to strengthening friendship relations between Azerbaijan and France.
Nathalie Goulet briefed the First Lady on the goal of her visit to Azerbaijan, adding she will observe the presidential election in the country.
The member of the French Senate said she had a number of official meetings during her visits to Azerbaijan.
