On Nov.26, during a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) the chairmanship in the organisation passed from Azerbaijan to Iran, IRNA agency reported.
The 21st meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers is being held in Tehran today.
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov represents Azerbaijan at the meeting.
The meeting in also being attended by delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Iran.
