Turkish Ambassador to Egypt Hussein Avni Botsali arrived in Ankara on November 28 after being declared as persona non grata in the country, Anadolu agency reported today.

The Egyptian authorities reduced the level of diplomatic relations with Turkey on November 23, 2013 and urged the country's ambassador to leave Egypt.

While speaking about the decision taken by the Egyptian military leadership against his country, Turkish President Abdullah Gul said that the current situation between Turkey and Egypt is temporary.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Ankara will maintain fraternal relations with the Egyptian people despite any deterioration of the political situation between the countries.
According to Davutoglu, the Turkish government's criticism against the military coup in Egypt doesn't mean interference in the internal affairs of this country.
