The Chairman of Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov is visiting Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur at the invitation of the International Centre for Parliamentary Research, CEC secretariat's media and public relations department said on Dec. 2.
The visit includes participation in the 7th International Electoral Affairs Symposium 'Electoral Reform in the 21st century', to be held on Dec. 3-4. The symposium is being organized by the International Centre for Parliamentary Research and Malaysian Central Election Commission and is dedicated to elections.
During the symposium the heads of various countries' electoral structures and election experts will share their experience gained in the sphere of electoral process and its management. They will also conduct exchange of opinions.
Chairman of Azerbaijani CEC will hold a series of meetings during his visit. Panahov is being accompanies by the head of the CEC secretariat, Rovzat Gasimov.
