The Iranian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental meeting will be held on Dec. 16 in Baku, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mohsen Pak Ayeen told Trend on Dec. 9.
The ambassador said a delegation led by the Director General of the International Legal Department of the Foreign Ministry, Alireza Jahangiri, will also participate in the meeting.
The ambassador added that the meeting will also discuss the commissioning of a new bridge near the Julfa border crossing point.
"A memorandum of understanding will also be signed in case of the parties' agreement," Pak-Ayeen said.
The meeting will also discuss other issues related to the border, the ambassador noted.
