Baku, Azerbaijan Dec. 10 / I. Izzet /
Documents on the destruction of religious monuments in Azerbaijan's occupied territories were sent to international organizations and relevant government agencies by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, the committee's chairman Elshad Isgandarov told journalists on Dec. 10.
He said that this information will also be sent to the international centers, which prepare reports. Isgandarov added that action by religious communities is necessary for creating a single international opinion on this issue.
The help of religious communities will be needed, "when the persons preparing the report will sum up the final result. I believe that their work will lead to a reaction of not only international organizations, but also of all international religious organizations," the head of the state committee said.
