Some 291 pilots of the Air Forces have resigned in Turkey in 2012-2013, Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz said in a statement quoted by Sabah newspaper.
"F-16 and F-4 fighter pilots resigned," he said.
The minister also stressed that the resignation of these pilots has led to a personnel shortage in the Turkish Air Force.
Yilmaz added that the resignation of the pilots will not weaken the Air Force of the country.
