Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today visited the city of Sumgayit.
The president first visited a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city center.
The head of state attended the opening of Azerbaijan paper and cardboard processing factory under Azersun Industrial Park, and Sumgayit Oil Factory.
President Ilham Aliyev also attended the inauguration of a copper processing plant, and inspected reconstruction and redevelopment work at Sumgayit Seaside Park after Nasimi.
