Viktor Yanukovich apologized for what is happening in Ukraine at a press conference on Feb. 28 , RIA Novosti reported.

"Shame", Yanukovych said, answering a journalist's question about his attitude to what is happening in Ukraine.

"Moreover, I want to apologize, first of all before the veterans, the Ukrainian people for what happened in Ukraine, because I did not have enough strength to maintain the stability and prevent the lawlessness that is going on in the country now," Yanukovych said.
