Ali Akbar Velayati, a top adviser to Iran's supreme leader, has urged European Union's Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton to condemn any possible wrongs of the P5+1, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported.

Velayati made the remarks during his meeting with Ashton in Tehran.

"We consider Lady Ashton as the representative of the other side, so if any of the members of the P5+1 breaks the agreement we expect her to take action," Velayati said.

"When the Americans broke the agreement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned their move saying it is against the agreement. We expected the same from Lady Ashton," he explained.

"Iran's nuclear right is reserved by the NPT, so we will never give up the Iranian nation's right," he said.

EU's foreign policy chief arrived in Tehran on for an official visit on March 8.

She has already met with a number of top Iranian officials including President Hassan Rouhani,
Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani, and Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Ali Shamkhani.
