On the night of June 3, Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime and Communication blocked access to the search engine ask.fm, Turkish newspaper Milliyet wrote on June 3.

Any attempt to download the search engine leads to a warning screen saying that ask.fm is temporarily blocked by government decree.

Turkey's Department of Telecommunications has yet to issue an official statement on the issue.

In accordance with the decision of the court, the access to micro-blogging network Twitter was blocked on May 21. This happened a few hours after Prime Minister's Recep Tayyip Erdogan statement about such possibility.

The Ministry extended the information that the access to social network Twitter is being restored on April 3.

An audio of a confidential meeting dealing with the situation in Syria, which was attended by the heads of intelligence and General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces was disseminated on the social network Youtube on March 27.
