Tbilisi will host one of the most large-scale aviation forums "Routes Silk Road 2014" on July 6-8, organized by "United Airports of Georgia" and Ministry of Economy.

More that 300 delegates are going to attend the forum, including representatives of more than 50 airlines and 60 airports.

The first part of the forum will be dedicated to the strategic summit, during which the main topics will be discussed. Particular attention will be paid to current issues such as the liberalization of the visa regime, governments promoting tourism development and challenges in the development of aviation.

The summit will be opened by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

The second part of the forum will be dedicated to bilateral meetings. On July 7-8 representatives of airlines and airports will discuss possible ways of cooperation and opening of new air traffic routes.

The forum is sponsored by "Khareba", "Gruzavianavigatsiya", Air Wissol-s, Georgia Petroleum, TAV Georgia, National Tourism Administration, Service Air and Heli Air Monaco.
