President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the Flag Square in Horadiz.
The president was informed that the square, which occupies a total area of 10 hectares, commands a view of the entire city of Horadiz. Green areas were created and landscaping work carried out here. A 287-step stairway leads up to the square.
A road linked to the area was laid. The area also has a parking lot. The flagpole stands at 68 metres and is clearly visible from all adjacent areas. The creation of three recreation corners increases the square`s importance.
