The police arrested a resident of Sumgayit city, Azerbaijan, who stole gold bars from a jewelry shop.

The gold bars with the weight of 800 grams were stolen from the jewelry shop belonging to a Sumgayit resident, Kamil Jabiyev, located in the 34th area of the Sumgayit, the Interior Ministry told Trend News.

As a result of operational search, the Sumgayit Police Office arrested Emin Novruzov, who stole the gold and lit the shop.

A criminal case was filed on the case.
