Baku hosted discussions on development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States.

On Oct. 2, Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev received Andrew C. Weber, U.S. Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defense Programs, the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend News.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the development of military cooperation between U.S. and Azerbaijan and the military-political situation in the region.
