The Azerbaijani Military Court take decision on restraint in the form of arrest towards these militaries, Azerbaijani Prosecutor Zakir Garalov said in an interview with the AzerTaj state news agency. These persons are accused of giving soldiers a weapon for cleaning and left them unattended, created the conditions to leave the territory of the division and abuse of power in the performance of military service, Garalov said. Two soldiers shot dead four military servicemen and injured two at Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Military Unit No. N in the Dashkesen region Jan. 28 at 6:00 p.m. According to defense officials, the soldiers shot themselves after the crime. The Military Prosecutor Office's Heinous Crimes Department launched a criminal case under Articles 120.2.1 (deliberate murder committed by a group of individuals, group of persons by prior conspiracy, an organized group or criminal association (criminal organization), 120.2.3 (deliberate murder of the victim or his relatives in connection with the implementation of this person performance or the performance of public debt) and 120.2.7 (deliberate murder of two or more persons), the Prosecutor Office told Trend News. The agency established investigative team headed by the Deputy Military Prosecutor Shafahat Imanov, who is investigates the fact at the scene. According to Garalov, Azerbaijani Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev has been informed about the incident.
