Ossetian side admits fire opened on Georgian villages from Ossetian  territory

During the meeting on prevention of incidents in Dvani on August 14, Ossetian side admitted that fire on Georgian villages was opened from its territory, state minister for reintegration, Temur Yakobashvili, told media on August 14.  

He said that Ossetian side confirmed information about fires whatever the foreign ministry and the Russian defense ministry said.

Yakobashvili also stressed that on August 14 Georgian side raised issue concerning kidnapping of Georgians, taking measures of security and free movement of population.

"Russian side tried to stump negotiating process but it failed. So, it decided to return to talks," state minister said.
