Namahvani hydroelectric station to be built in Georgia in 2010: Georgian President

Namahvani hydroelectric station will be built in Racha from 2010, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said in Ambrolauri region.

He said that about 6,000-7,000 people will construct the station. The project is worth $500-600 million.

"After Inguri hydroelectric station, such a station was not built in Georgia. In fact, it will be innovation in Georgia," Mikheil Saakashvili said.
