Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on November 3-4 on the invitation of King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein, Kazakh official representative Yerzhan Ashikbayev said at a press-conference in Astana on November 2.

"The implementation of agreements reached during the previous visit of the Jordanian leadership to Kazakhstan, the current status and future spheres of cooperation between two countries in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be discussed during the upcoming summit talks. Several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed as a result of the talks", Ashikbayev said.

He said that the third meeting of the Kazakh-Jordanian Business Council is planned to be held within the visit. The Kazakh President will attend the opening ceremony of the Days of Kazakh Culture in Jordan.

"The Kazakh President will pay official visit to Italy and the Vatican on November 4-6", official representative of the Kazakh foreign ministry said.

He said that the talks with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, Italian chairman of Italian Council of Ministers Silvio Berlusconi are planned to be held within the visit. Several bilateral inter-governmental and commercial agreements in various spheres are expected to be signed as a result of the talks.

"The Kazakh-Italian business forum with participation of leading representatives of business circles of two countries will be held on the eve of the visit", he said.

He said that during the visit to the Vatican the Kazakh President will have the audience with Pope Benedict XVI and meet with Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone.
