Azerbaijani military to pass mine-clearing training in Georgia

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry officials will begin mine-clearing training in Georgia.

The training was opened at a ceremony attended by Georgian defense, interior and foreign ministry officials, foreign diplomats and experts from British Cranfield Technical University.

In addition to the Azerbaijani officials, the courses will also be attended by representatives from the Georgian defense, interior and foreign ministries, as well as the Armenian Defense Ministry.

Cadets will learn basic modern humanitarian de-mining.

The International Trust Fund for De-Mining and Mine Victims Assistance and Cranfield Technological University hold the training. The session will end Nov.27.
