Czech Republic opens embassy in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 19 / Trend News S.Agayeva /

A Czech embassy will start working in Baku early December, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Czech Republic Tahir Tagizade told Trend News today by phone.

Ambassador Radek Matula will represent the Czech Republic in Azerbaijan. He is expected to come to Baku in early December.

Azerbaijan opened its diplomatic representation in the Czech Republic in 2007. 

The goods turnover between the two countries amounted to $21.2 million in January-September 2009, the State Statistics Committee reported.
