Today hosts the ninth meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions chaired by Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev will be held at the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana," the press office of the Senate informed.
The Secretariat will be attended by representatives of various faiths and religious organizations, prominent statesmen, politicians and public figures of the world, renowned religious scholars and political scientists.
The participants will exchange views on the outcome of the 3rd Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, it is also expected to discuss and approve proposals for topics and agenda of the 4th Congress of religious leaders, scheduled for 2012, to consider a number of organizational issues on preparation this forum.
