Azerbaijan, Baku, December 9 / Trend News / On the Day of Memory of Nationwide Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, the Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia will hold a number of activities involving the public of Georgia, Georgian and Azerbaijani intellectuals, members of Parliament and the Government of Georgia, the Embassy said.
In late November - early December, tours were organized to Azerbaijan State Erevan Drama Theater in Georgia, during which a performance "the Saviour" was displayed at Georgian State Drama Theater named after Rustaveli.
Events will be held in commemoration of Nationwide Leader on Dec. 10-11 in Marneuli, Bolnisi, Dmanisi and Gardabani regions of Georgia, together with the administration of the Kvemo-Kartli region, which will begin with laying a wreath to the bust of Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi with the participation of representatives of the Georgian government, Azerbaijani community and intellectuals.
The events will be attended by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, Namik Aliyev, the Governor of Kvemo-Kartli region David Kirkitatdze and other Georgian officials.
