Russia, Moscow, Dec. 16 / Trend News's special correspondent I. Bragina /

The Moscow Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has organized today a New Year's holiday for orphans from orphanages and boarding schools of Moscow. This holiday was organized for kids with participation of artists and giving gifts at the initiative of the Moscow Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation head Leyla Aliyeva.

About 600 children from about twenty specialized orphanages of Moscow were invited to the festivity held in Moscow's cinema Baku, the Moscow Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation  employee Neymat Nagdaliyev said. Moreover, pupils from Moscow School with Azerbaijani ethno-cultural component No 157 were also invited to the festivity.

Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and their assistants opened the program. They were represented by puppets of the State Academic Puppet Theatre named by Obraztsov. Then a theatrical performance based on fairy tales was demonstrated for the children. The children got sweet New Year gifts in the end of the festivity.

The Moscow Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has expressed gratitude to the Moscow's All Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis and its chairman Ilgar Hajiyev for the opportunity to use the cinema "Baku" to conduct a charity for orphans.

But these are not all New Year surprises from the Moscow Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Neymat Nagdaliyev said that it is planned to make a New Year gift for a special correctional children's home No 1 for children with developmental disabilities, located in the east of Moscow.
