Georgia will send humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan today, Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri.
"Kyrgyzstan has asked for help and Georgia will be one of the first to respond to the request," Gilauri said. "We will send a plane with humanitarian aid to the Kyrgyz people, to whom the Georgian people have feelings of friendship, this evening."
First the country will send medicines, for which Kyrgyzstan has a need, Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili said.
