Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committe on Diaspora Affairs said that Azerbaijanis living in Georgia had no problems with deportation.
"Problems of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia are one of priority issues," Azerbaijani State Committe on Diaspora Affairs chairman Nazim Ibrahimov told media outlets on July 6.
Deportation of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia was discussed at the meetings in the Azerbaijani Parliament last month.
According to Azerbaijani NGOs, roughly 500,000 Azerbaijanis live in Borchali (Kvema-Kartli).
According to Ibrahimov, great work is done to solve problems of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia, including thier living and integration in Georgia's commuunity.
"Results of our work is obvious," chairman of the comitte said.
According to chairman of the committe, Georgia's economy is not well developed. So, these problems affect badly on Azerbaijanis.
"Despite it, we try for Azerbaijanis living in Georgia to use economic power of Azerbaijan and achieve reduction of social problems," Ibrahimov said.
According to Ibrahimov, Azerbaijanis living in Georgia have problems with education. "Azerbaijani does its best to solve all these probelms," Ibrahimov said.
