Turkish PM vows to pursue fight against terrorism

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday Turkey would pursue its fight with determination against terrorism and problems which provided basis for terrorism, Xinhua quoted Anadolu news agency as reporting.
Erdogan made the remarks at a fast-breaking dinner with visiting NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
Erdogan said international support and incentive would play an important role in Turkish government's "democratic move" which was initiated to deal with the Kurdish issue.
He said open or secret support extended to terrorism as well as continuation of clashes and instability in the region only serve for blood and tears.
Erdogan said Turkey, which had been supporting every effort of NATO for 57 years, was a loyal partner of the organization, adding that Turkey would continue to support NATO.
Erdogan said he conveyed to Rasmussen that Turkey needed the new NATO chief's support for Turkey's fight against terrorism.
The former Danish prime minister, who took up the post of NATO chief early this month, arrived in Turkey for a two-day visit to discuss the alliance and boost relations with the Muslim world.
