The opening ceremony of the Iran-Azerbaijan Friendship Group's office took place in Iran's Urmia city, İRNA reported.
"Activities of the office will focus on enhancing cooperation between the two countries, establishing links between representatives of the intelligentsia of the two countries, as well as expanding the Iranian-Azerbaijani trade cooperation," said Rahman Nariman, the representative of the office.
Nariman added that the Iranian-Azerbaijani Friendship Group operates in Iran for three years and by opening offices in several central provinces of the country, activities of the group expand.
