Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 6 / Trend , T.Jafarov/

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sent a congratulatory letter to the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheikhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade.

"I thank You for Your invitation to attend the conference to be held on inter-religious dialogue. I would be glad to participate in this conference, but in connection with the planned activities, it was impossible to do so. Therefore, I extend my congratulations and gratitude to you through your friend and adviser Mohammed Jawad Haji Ali Akbari," says President Ahmadinejad's congratulatory letter sent to the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Almost 40 countries' delegations are expected to attend the anniversary celebrations of the head of the Caucasus Muslims Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade to be held in Baku on Nov. 6-7.

Ahmadinejad said fortunately fraternal ties between the two nations continue to grow thanks to the will of the Iranian and Azerbaijani peoples.

"I am confident that these initiatives will help the spiritual leaders of monotheistic religions and their followers to better understand each other. I am also convinced that now, on the eve of global issues and problems of humanity at the end of a long era of domination of immoral systems, which cause wars, poverty and discord among people, more than ever there is a need to regulate relations with the cultural, moral and spiritual communion, create a better world based on justice and generosity. I believe that the more humane teachings and moral norms of religions will be used in the global relations and inter-state relations, the less the world will face wars and terror, violence and racism, suffering and injustice," Ahmadinejad's congratulatory letter said.
