The Azerbaijani Football Federation Association (AFFA) set new conditions for the Azerbaijani national football team's Chief Coach Berti Vogts. The conditions are to continue rejuvenating the team, AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mamedov told Trend .
Educational training sessions and intense physical trainings are the primary conditions, he said.
The AFFA signed a new contract with Vogts today, renewing his tenure for two years.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev met with Vogts and accepted a report on his past activities as well as his future development program, the AFFA told Trend today.
Following the discussion, Vogts' tenure as head coach was extended for two years. The meeting was attended by AFFA Vice President Elshad Nasirov and Secretary General Elkhan Mamedov.
According to Mammadov, during a meeting with AFFA management, various proposals were made relating to the national team.
