Imam Khomeni's Imdad (Rescue) Committee of Iran appointed Mahmud Saidi the chairman of its Azerbaijan representation.
Saidi told Trend that he headed Imdad Committee in Urmiya for roughly 28 years before he was appointed to Azerbaijan,
Saidi will replace Mansur Seifi in the position.
Imdad representation is functioning in Azerbaijan from 1993 year and providing humanitarian assistance to refugees, IDPs and low-income families in Azerbaijan.
Annual budget of committee hits $ 2.5- 3 million
