Council of State Support to NGOs in Azerbaijan presented the initial version of the list of topics for 2010 financial competition to public discussion.
The NGOs can submit their suggestions and opinions relating to topics to the Council in written by November 30, the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan told Trend on Nov. 19.
Contest on financial assistance was announced on Jan. 15, 2009. Deadline for application was Feb. 15. As many as 569 projects were submitted to the council in 2009. Some 226 from 569 projects were approved and 1,848 million manat was allocated to implement them.
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree establishing the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan on December 13, 2007.
