Azerbaijani pilgrims arriving in Mecca for the Hajj by bus are returning to their homeland and moved from the city towards Syria, the representative of the Caucasus Muslims Department (CMD) Haji Hamdullah Babayev, who accompanies the pilgrims, told Trend by telephone on Nov. 30.
He said the pilgrims who left Mecca today will arrive in Jordan, and from there - in Syria.
Hajj was successfully completed, the pilgrimage feel fine, said Haji Hamdullah. According to him, those who arrived in Mecca by plane will go to Medina tomorrow.
Hajj began on November 25. Over 2.5 million pilgrims from different parts of the world arrived in Saudi Arabia.
This year, from Azerbaijan 720 pilgrims went to Hajj by bus.
