Tehran chief Prosecutor General says the doctor at the Kahrizak detention center has died of poisoning, and a probe into his death will continue, reported press.tv.
Abbas Jafari-Dolatabadi said on Tuesday that according to the coroner, Ramin Pourandarjani died from consumption of medical pills.
"Up to the very moment, [findings] show that he died of drug poisoning," he said, adding that traces of pills were found near his salad
Jafari-Dolatabadi further stated that the investigation into his death would continue to determine if the doctor was murdered or had committed suicide.
