Three million manat was allocated by presidential decree to restore five schools in poor condition.
"Three million manat allocated by presidential decree will be spent to restore five schools in poor condition," Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said yesterday.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on additional measures to reconstruct schools in poor condition, Azertaj state news agency reported earlier.
According to the decree, 3 million manat were allocated to the Education Ministry from the Presidential Reserve Fund using the 2009 public budget.
The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry was charged with provide the funds provided by the decree and the Cabinet of Ministers was charged with resolving issues related to the decree.
