Sentence was made in Azerbaijan to the junior sergeant accused of committing violence against the soldiers. On Dec. 17, the Military Court on Heinous Crimes sentenced junior sergeant of the military unit of the Defense Ministry Rahimov Zamin to five years imprisonment.
Rahimov is accused under article 332 (violation of statutory regulations on personal relations in the absence of relations of subordination between them, connected with the humiliation of honor and dignity of the victim or with violence against them) of the Criminal Code.
During his military service, Rahimov insulted, beat and inflicted damage to soldiers Javid Suleymanov and Shohrat Gulverdiyev.
