Over 2,810 agreements on waste transportation were signed in Sumgait.
Department on area cleaning fixed a two-shift mode for 25 garbage trucks due to increase the volume of waste in 2009, Sumgait's executive power told Trend .
According to the department, at present, 220 posts on waste receipt operate. About 1,300 containers are installed for garbage collection at these posts. The damaged containers have been repaired. Domestic waste was liquidated in city ground.
So far, five new cars and a shovel loader to transport waste have been purchased. About 2,810 contracts on waste transport were signed. About 1,690 are physical entities and 1,120 - legal ones.
