Today the Baku Slavic University's Center for Polish Language and Culture hosts the "Decade of Solidarity" exhibition dedicated the 20th anniversary of the fall of communism in Central and Eastern Europe. Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Krzysztof Krajewski also attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition organized by the Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Krajewski noted the difficult path that Poland passed in the process of gaining independence. He said he admires those who perished in the struggle for Azerbaijan's independence on Jan. 20, 1990.
The event exhibits archival photographs, posters and pictures of the events of late 1980.
