Azerbaijan will establish new vocational schools: education minister

Azerbaijan plans to increase the number of vocational schools.

The country will establish new vocational schools in every economic region, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov told journalists today. These vocational schools will meet the regions' requirements.

Presently, the relevant agencies review requirements of each region, he said. The ministry has already commissioned a modern technical college in the Gabala region. Moreover, the ministry will open colleges in the Bilasuvar and Ismayilli regions with the support of the European Commission and Azersun Holding, the minister said.

He added that the ministry will also open a vocational school in the Ganja city with the support of Billur plant.
