The Heydar Aliyev Foundation conducts festivities on World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year in the palace Buta from Dec. 29-31.
These events sum up the Year of the Child declared in Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation reported. Children from orphanages and boarding schools, the families of martyrs and internally displaced people, as well as excellent students were invited to the festivities. Over 2,000 children will participate in three-day-festivities. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided 35 buses to bring children into the palace Buta.
On the first day of the holiday, representatives of local and foreign children's organizations, including members of the associations of thalassemia, hemophilia, diabetes attended the festivities. A new CD with children's songs of Azerbaijani composers was presented at the festivity. This CD contains 16 popular songs of famous Azerbaijani composers performed by children's group "Jan bala", as well as the group "RAST" and famous singers.
