Azerbaijan and Israel's chess teams played a draw in the sixth round of the World Team Championship in Turkey's Bursa on Sunday, the official site of the tournament reported.
All four parties: Vugar Hashimov - Boris Gelfand, Teymur Rajabov - Michael Roiz, Shahriyar Mammadyarov - Emil Sutovsky and Rauf Mammadov - Maxim Rodshtein ended in a draw. As a result, the account between the teams became 2:2.
Thus, Azerbaijan with 13.5 points took the third place in the group after the U.S. and Russia.
