Azerbaijan has reviewed the appeal of a municipality head accused of abuse of power.
The Shirvan Court of Appeals announced its decision on the appeal of head of the Sabirabad region's Garalar village Mamishov Baladayi Shirin oglu. According to the decision, his sentence was repealed and he was acquitted.
Mamishov was charged with Article 308.1 (abuse of power) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code and sentenced to one year of rehabilitation.
