Azerbaijan sentenced an individual accused of committing an armed attack.
The Baku Serious Crimes Court sentenced Ganja region resident Ceyhun Musayev to six years in prison, who was accused of committing an armed attack.
In Dec 1995, Mussayev committed an armed attack against Shakir Allahverdiyev, maiming him and his family, and stealing their personal property.
Joint operations by the Ganja Regional Police Department and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies resulted in Musayev's arrest and extradition to Azerbaijan.
