Azerbaijan's Interior Ministry was urged for objective investigation of on incident that occurred in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan (AR), Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova told journalists today.
"Appropriate measures will be taken after receiving an official response regarding the events in the Benenyar village," she said.
A clash between police and local residents took place in the Benenyar village on Ashura day on Dec.27 2009.
