World famous tenor Spaniard Placida Domingo will hold the open air concert in Batumi on May 16
"Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili personally invited Domingo to Georgia," Tbilisi Opera and Ballet theatre director David Sakvarelidze said
They met in Milan. In December, opera Carmen opened the winter season in La Scala, where the Georgian Anita Rachvelishvili made her debut. Saakashvili and Domingo watched her perfomance
Domingo accepted the invitation and said that will arrive in the country where so beautiful voices and music with a great pleasure
Georgian singers whose composition is specified will perform together with Domingo
Domingo decided to sing party for a baritone. Georgia will be one of the first countries where Domingo will present this project
