A schoolboy accused of providing false information about bomb threat at school was released.
The Court on Heinous Crimes sentenced the 10-form pupil Shahryar Gumbatzade, who was accused of providing false information on existence of an explosive substance at secondary school, to five years of conditional imprisonment and released him from the court hall.
He was accused under Article 216(obviously false information about terror act) of the Criminal Code.
"I placed a bomb at 1st secondary school of the Jeyranbatan village," unknown said by calling 112 service of the Emergency Situations Ministry, Nov.20, 2009
The information was transferred to the Interior Ministry Management Duty Service. The information was not confirmed.
The Absheron District Police Department revealed that false information was provided by Jeyranbatan villager Shahryar Gumbatzade.
