Three books covering the first expedition to Antarctica were published, Azerbaijan Federation of Aerial and Extreme Sports President Huseyngulu Bagirov said on the presentation of books.
Materials prepared on the results of 37-day expedition to Antarctica reflect a breakthrough of the country in this area.
The first book narrates about subjugation of one of inaccessible points of the planet, mount Winson in Antarctica, and hoisting the national flag of Azerbaijan on it. The second one "Climate of Antarctica. Global Influence" covers meteorological explorations, facts, scientific analysis carried out in Antarctica. The third book "Frozen Piece of Gongwana" provides information about investigation of mineral resources of Antarctica, perspectives of their exploitation and ecological problems revealed here.
"We are planning to publish books after each expedition ", the federation president said.
"Necessary materials covering expedition to Kilimanjaro are ready," he said.
