Azerbaijani chess players will participate in the International Caspian Cup Chess Tournament in the Iranian city of Rasht, Gilan province.
About 1000 players from 10 countries - Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, India, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Iran - will participate in the tournament, IRNA News Agency reported.
The tournament will continue until Feb.18 and will be refereed by 27 international referees.
