Azerbaijan has sentenced two people for drug smuggling from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Serious Crimes Court sentenced today Igdam Aliyev, 34, and Agil Aliyev, 33, to 14 years and six months in prison.
The accused were arrested as a result of an action by the National Security Ministry Nov.1, 2009 in the city of Lankaran.
About 37 kilograms of hashish and approximately five kilograms of opium were found and seized from them.
